Recently, a support case was submitted by a client who manages their own Dynamics GP environment. They had performed an upgrade to Dynamics GP 2015 recently and as part of the upgrade process, they migrated from FRx to Management Reporter 2012 CU12.  Associated to the FRx migration to Management Reporter, they were now having issues producing financial reports. The support case stated there were problems with trying to use the same row definition on multiple reports. In addition, there were problems with user accessing the companies. Convergence is no longer!  A conference with 20+ years of history, that was the flagship of a strong community, and that many attendees looked forward to year after year is no more.  In its place is Envision, a less technical, non-product specific event targeted at executive level participants and focusing on the entire stack of Microsoft solutions.  The event appears to put the strongest emphasis and focus on the upper-tier of Enterprise customers.  We hold hope that Envision will be a valuable event for some customers but the Convergence attendees of the...

We’ve spent a lot of time with clients this month working on producing the ACA Form 1095-C for their employees. GP has built-in functionality to produce the form but most customers have not been tracking data for 2015. No worries there, we can backfill the information in just a few steps. First, Human Resources must be installed and Benefits reconciled. Once the benefit setup and benefit enrollment are reconciled we are ready to enter the data for Lines 14, 15 and 16 on Form 1095-C.
