Error When Printing Checks in GP With Mekorma

Recently, we came across an error being experienced when printing checks in GP using the Mekorma check printing software application. This error is a result of some conflicts between Mekorma and some recent Windows Updates released by Microsoft.

A new build is available from Mekorma to resolve this issue. For further help on this, please contact Summit Group Software for assistance.

Unable to get property ‘getValue’ of undefined or null reference opening Appointment form in Microsoft CRM 2015

Recently we had a customer who had modified the appointment form to add some custom fields and had removed some of the default appointment fields.  After making those changes, they were now receiving a JavaScript error, “There was an error with this field’s customized event.  Field:  window  Event: onload Error:  Unable to get property ‘getValue’ of undefined or null reference.”  In looking at the form, there was no custom onload JavaScript associated with the appointment form.

CRM 2013 Installation Error

Recently I was working on a CRM 2013 Server installation for a customer who had a very well structured and stringent security model across their enterprise. Although we had followed the Microsoft documentation and Implementation Guide as well as providing our installation user the minimum permissions required, we were still seeing the following error:

Action: Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Server.AddAspNetServiceAccountToSqlAccessGroupAction failed.  Access is denied.

Browser message generating Management Reporter reports

Do you look forward the Microsoft feeds to the Connect part on the Home Page of Dynamics GP?  When deploying out the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Web Client, the below information may assist you.

ISSUE – Running the Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Web Client, the Connect part on the Home Page is displaying the below message –

WebBrowser is enabled only for Out-of-Browser applications and applications running with elevated permissions in Internet Explorer.
